MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Freshman Jacob Choge was named the Conference USA Male Athlete of the Week for his stellar performance in the Greater Louisville Classic, the conference office announced this afternoon.
This is Choge's second C-USA Athlete of the Week Award in his last two races. The freshman won his first award after his outstanding performance in the Commodore Classic and now his second for his impressive time in Louisville, Ky.
In just Choge's second collegiate race, the freshman finished second among some of the nation's top runners and led the Middle Tennessee men's team to a second place finish Saturday.
