MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The reigning Conference USA cross country individual champions have started off the 2020 season with another league honor, as Eusila Chepkemei and Jacob Choge were recognized by C-USA on Tuesday with Athlete of the Week awards.
"It's nice to see them both garner a well-deserved award," MT head cross country coach Keith Vroman said. "They have been a staple for this program for the last few years, and I'm proud of what they've helped the team accomplish."
Chepkemei finished with the 13th best time among all 280 competitors in the three flights of the UAB Invitational on Friday.
