MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Senior Kigen Chemadi has been named Men's C-USA Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Chemadi posted an impressive outing at the Tennessee Challenge on May 1. He competed in the men's 3000m Steeplechase and captured the gold with a time of 8:35.75. The time broke the school record in the event that he previously held. The time was also the fastest in C-USA and ranked third nationally.
