MURFREESBORO – Senior Kigen Chemadi and sophomore Pamela Kosgei have been named the Conference USA Male and Female XC Athletes of the Week for their spectacular performances over the weekend at the Memphis Twilight XC Classic in Memphis, TN.
Chemadi placed first overall for the third time in his college career, and broke his personal best with a time of 19:27.22 in the 4 mile race. His second best time is a 19:46.26, which he ran in the 2017 Brooks Twilight Classic. He led his team to a first place victory out of a total 14 teams.
