AUSTIN, Texas – The Middle Tennessee Track and Field team rounded off the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday evening in Austin, Texas.
Kigen Chemadi competed in two events on Friday, earning All-American honors in both final events at the Mike A. Myers Stadium. Chemadi claimed first-team All-American honors in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase after finishing third overall. The junior finished with a time of 8:40.22.
In his second event of the evening, Chemadi notched second-team All-American honors in the men's 5,000-meter race. Chemadi posted a 16th place finish, crossing the line with a time of 14:22.
