Central Magnet's soccer team took care of business quickly on Tuesday night, rolling past Jackson Christian 5-0 in the Class A-AA state tournament at Siegel Park.
Central Magnet faces CPA, which beat Lexington 3-0, Wednesday night at 7.
It didn't take long for the Tigers (18-2-1) to make their mark as midfielder Stephen Falter found forward Zavier Phillips for a goal in the opening 45 seconds of the game to take the early 1-0 lead.
"Steve Falter played a beautiful ball through, and I just poked it inside the keeper and it went in," Falter said, "and then we just kept going at them and made sure we had the game secured.
