MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Just two tournaments into her collegiate career, Middle Tennessee freshman golfer Catherine Caudill has earned her first Conference USA Golfer of the Week honor following an outstanding performance at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship.
Caudill fired a 5-under par 66 on Tuesday to shoot up the leaderboard in Knoxville and claim a share of the second place spot in a talented field of 93 golfers. Her stellar final round is her second in the 60s in just two collegiate tournaments and ranks as the lowest round ever by a Blue Raider freshman.
