GREENSBORO, GA – The Middle Tennessee men's golf team finished 11th at the Linger Longer Invitational with a final round 291 on Tuesday. The No. 45 Blue Raiders carded an 874 54-hole total on the Reynolds Lake Oconee golf course (par 72, 7,073 yards).
No. 4 ranked Baylor won the team title with a score of 831, which was 33-under par, while No. 8 Virginia placed second at 18-under par. No. 20 Georgia was third, Troy fourth and Alabama fifth.
"Unfortunately, we did not follow up a good tournament in San Diego with a good effort this week," said Head Coach Brennan Webb.
