MOBILE, Ala. – Graduate Student Sophie Burks set a program-record 54-hole total of 205 (68-68-69) Monday, leading the way for the Middle Tennessee women's golf team as the Blue Raiders closed out the USA Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of South Alabama at the par-72, 6,002-yard Magnolia Grove Crossing Golf Course.
Burks, who got off to a fast start Saturday morning, showed no signs of slowing throughout the three-day weekend. The Alabama native tied her career-low 18-hole round score of 68 (-4) twice, following it up with a 69(-3) on Labor Day to close out the tournament in her home state.
