MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The top of Middle Tennessee's lineup has crushed opposing defenses all season and was rewarded for it on Tuesday, as Conference USA announced Summer Burgess and Kelci Hill had received All-Conference honors.
Graduate student shortstop Summer Burgess was named to the league's First Team after posting a .311 batting average with a team-high 29 runs scored and 11 doubles while also tying for the team-lead in triples (3) and stolen bases (14).
