ROSWELL, GA – Kent Bulle, a former Middle Tennessee golfer and current member of the Web.com Tour, will see a dream come true as he will be competing in the 2016 U.S. Open at Oakmont. Bulle made it through sectional qualifying today at Ansley Golf Club (Settindown Creek Course, par 72, 7,332 yards) in Roswell, GA to grab one of the coveted spots in the field.
Bulle, who played for the Blue Raiders from 2006 to 2010, carded an 11-under par total over 36 holes to win the event. Bulle fired a 3-under 69 in the first round then shot a blistering 64 over the final 18 holes to grab victory by three strokes.
