DALLAS – Following strong performances against LA Tech and Sam Houston, Middle Tennessee center Anastasiia Boldyreva was named the Conference USA Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Boldyreva, a junior from Moscow, Russia picked up her fourth career weekly accolade and second of the season – she was previously named Freshman of the Week twice in 2022.
The 6-6 center helped guide Middle Tennessee to a pair of road CUSA wins to open league play. The junior posted back-to-back double-doubles, shooting 73.3 percent from the field on the week, to go along with 22 rebounds and six blocks.
