DALLAS – Following strong performances against Michigan and DePaul, Middle Tennessee center Anastasiia Boldyreva was named the Conference USA Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Boldreva, a junior from Moscow, Russia picked up her third career weekly accolade - she was previously named Freshman of the Week twice in 2022.
The 6-6 center led the Battle 4 Atlantis in scoring on the opening day in a field that features: Arizona, DePaul, Howard, Memphis, Michigan, Ole Miss and South Dakota State. She logged 23 points, seven rebounds and four blocks against Michigan, going 10-of-15 from the field, including 1-of-1 from beyond the arc and hit a pair of free throws.
