BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Middle Tennessee capped the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships with four women's title and the C-USA Male Freshman of the Year Sunday.
Erhire Omamyouwi was named C-USA Freshman of the Year after his strong showing as he finished second in the triple jump and the high jump.
Middle Tennessee did not utilize a full compliment of athletes for the meet but the female Blue Raiders that did compete turned in strong performances.
"The athletes we brought represented themselves and Middle Tennessee well," Middle Tennessee head coach Dean Hayes said.
