MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – For the third time this season, Middle Tennessee will face an in-state foe when it travels to Nashville to take on the Tennessee State Tigers Wednesday night.
The midweek tilt is slated for a 6 p.m. start from Kean Hall.
The Blue Raiders hold a 34-1 advantage in the all-time series, including victories in the last 27 meetings. Tennessee State's lone win in the series was a 3-2 decision in 1989 at the Western Kentucky Tournament in Bowling Green, Ky.
The Blue Raiders are seeking to bounce back after dropping a pair of matches against Rice and WKU last weekend.
