MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Men's Basketball is back in international action this season as the Blue Raiders have accepted an invite to compete the 2021 Cancun Challenge at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.
The eight-team event is split into two divisions – the Mayan Division and the Riviera Division – with Middle Tennessee in the Mayan Division alongside Bucknell, Mercer and Rider. The Riviera Division features Buffalo, Illinois State, Saint Louis and Stephen F. Austin.
The event opens in the U.S. with four cross-divisional games hosted by the teams in the Riviera Division.
