MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee track and field team is primed to compete on Saturday, May 1 at the Tennessee Challenge at the Tom Black Track at Laporte Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn.

At the Clark Wood Open, the Blue Raiders combined for 10 podium finishes, including three event titles. Esther Isa would take the gold in the women's triple jump with a 12.42m mark. Amarachukwu Obi used a 23.06 to take the title in the women's 200m. In the women's 800m, Eusila Chepkemei recorded a time of 2:08.
