MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee head coach will lead the Blue Raiders into Des Moines, Iowa, this weekend to face Drake at 10 a.m. on Sunday to begin a 10-match road swing.
"I think the road trips are always good for team chemistry," MT assistant coach said. "The guys spend a lot of time together and get to play in some tough environments, so that helps to build towards the rest of the season."
The match will be the first between the two programs, and it will be Borendame's first time squaring off against his former team, where he earned his first head coaching position, posting a record of 15-9 in 2009-10 before coming to Murfreesboro.
