MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee volleyball team defeated UAB in five sets Friday evening by scores of 26-24, 23-25, 18-25, 26=24, 15-4. The Blue Raiders improve to 11-13 on the season and 4-5 in the conference, while the Blazers fall to 11-11 overall and 3-6 in the league.

Dora Peonia led the team attacks with a total 19 kills on the match, and finished with 11 kills to record her 12th double-double on the season. Taylor Hammill dished out a season-high 52 assists for the third time this season and 15 digs, recording her 11th double-double on the year.
