AUBURN, Ala. – Beating a Power Five opponent on the road, ending that opponent's seven-game winning streak and ending its own three-game losing streak, it was quite the night for Middle Tennessee baseball against Auburn.
The Blue Raider bats came alive in their 10-8 victory over Auburn Friday night for the team's fifth win of the season and second against a Power Five program.
MT came to play from the start, scoring four runs off four hits in the first inning.
Jared Vetetoe opened the scoring with an RBI groundout. Moments later, Brett Coker came home on a wild pitch to put MT ahead 2-0.
