MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Senior Cecilia Francis has been named C-USA Track Athlete of the Week, and senior Esther Isa has been named C-USA Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Francis posted an impressive outing at the Music City Challenge on Feb. 12-13, recording top-three finishes in both events.
On day one, she competed in the 200 meters and finished third overall with a time of 24.55. The time was second fastest in C-USA and ranked 130th nationally. On day two, she blew past the competition en route to the women's 60-meter title.
