BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Middle Tennessee baseball team split Saturday's Conference USA doubleheader with rival WKU.
In the first game of the day, the Blue Raiders' (18-15-1, C-USA 7-7-1) starting pitcher Peyton Wigginton threw 6.1 innings before allowing a Hilltopper (17-18, C-USA 7-8) hit. Wigginton joins MT teammate Aaron Brown who also threw a two hitter earlier this month.
With Wigginton's outing today, it marks the first time since March of 2001 that Blue Raider teammates have thrown two-hitters in the same month. Brown allowed two hits in his 4-1 complete game victory vs.
