Murfreesboro, TN.- The Middle Tennessee baseball team will play Columbia State Community College in a planned 14 inning scrimmage tomorrow at Reese Smith Jr. Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 2 PM.
So far this fall, Blue Raider pitching has been dominate. During the last four intra-squad scrimmages Raider pitchers have combined for 71 strikeouts.
"I'm really proud of the pitchers for throwing an awful lot of strikes," said Head Coach Jim Toman. "We've got a lot of work to do offensively, but that's normal early in the fall that the pitchers are ahead of the hitters.
