MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Softball is set for a Thursday doubleheader at Blue Raider Softball Field as they host the Tennessee State Tigers at 2:30 p.m., followed immediately by a clash against the Columbia State Community College Chargers at 6 p.m.
Tennessee State finished the 2021 season with a 9-33 overall record, and a 5-26 mark in Ohio Valley Conference play. Anayah Baker-Rowell led the Tigers last season with a team-best 37 hits on 130 at-bats, while also knocking in a team-best 13 RBIs and tying for a team-high 13 runs scored in 41 contests.
