TEXARKANA, Ark. – The Blue Raiders carded a final round of 3-over-par 291 to finish sixth at the Conference USA Championship at Texarkana Country Club on Wednesday afternoon. Senior JJ Zimmer led Middle Tennessee in the individual standings with a 3-under-par 213 to finish tied for sixth.
Liberty, Sam Houston, Kennesaw State and NM State each advanced to the match play portion of the tournament. The Flames claimed the No. 1 with a 54-hole total of 15-under-par 849, while Sam Houston earned the two-seed at 9-under-par 855, Kennesaw State claimed the three-seed at 3-under-par 861, and NM State and UTEP will compete for the final spot via a playoff after finishing tied for fourth at 2-under-par 862.
