Blue Raiders Score Three Times in Shutout Win Over MVSU

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee State soccer earned its first win of the season in a convincing 3-0 win over Mississippi Valley State Friday night at Dean A. Hayes Track & Soccer Stadium.

Following a one hour, 43 minute lightning delay, the Blue Raiders (1-2-1) found goal three times from three different players.

The Blue Raiders came out of the gates firing, attempting five shots in the first seven minutes of action. The aggressiveness paid off as Cambell Kivisto scored her first goal of the season in the 16' with Manon Lebargy and Idun Kvaale setting up the play and earning assists.
