Blue Raiders outlast Kansas City behind resurgent Jordan

NASSAU, Bahamas — 21-point performance powered Middle Tennessee past Kansas City 63-59 Sunday in the final round of the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship. Jordan scored 15 points in the second half as the Blue Raiders erased an early deficit.

MTSU trailed by as many as 12 in the first half, but after falling behind 30-18 with just under four-and-a-half minutes to play in the opening period, the Blue Raiders went on a 33-4 run that lasted until the 13:45 mark of the second half.

Middle Tennessee started 1-11 from 3-point range in the first half, but a 5-9 performance in the second half helped spur the outburst.
