MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee softball won its fall exhibition game against Trevecca Nazarene University 9-0 Saturday afternoon at Blue Raider Softball Field.
"Our pitchers pitched well today, and we finally got our short game going and were able to have a big inning in the fifth," Head Coach Jeff Breeden said.
Trevecca threatened to score early in the game getting bases loaded but the defense held to keep the game scoreless in the first inning.
After four scoreless innings, the Blue Raiders scored eight in the fifth inning. Ava Tepe started the inning off with a double and came around to score.
