MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee Head Coach Rick Stockstill announced tonight the signing of Demetric Hardin Jr. to a scholarship agreement.
Hardin is a 6-2, 185, wide receiver from Lewisville High School in Chester, SC where he earned all-state honors in football and basketball. Hardin was a quarterback and returner for Lewisville but will play receiver for the Blue Raiders.
As a senior, Hardin had 2,655 all-purpose yards and 28 touchdowns on his way to being tabbed the Class AA Back of the Year by the South Carolina Football Coaches Association.
Hardin rushed for 1,242 yards and 15 touchdowns on 147 carries while also completing 64 of 132 passes for 953 yards and seven touchdowns.
