MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee welcomes two newcomers to its volleyball program for the 2017 season after Shelbie Dobmeier and Maddie Sweeney signed National Letters of Intent, interim head coach announced.

Dobmeier joins the MT program from Lakewood, Calif., where she has helped the Lancers claim at least a share of the league championship each year of her high school career. Dobmeier was an intricate part in leading the Lancers to a 27-5 regular season record this season, including a perfect 12-0 ledger in league play, and is currently competing in the Division I CIF State Championship quarterfinals.
