ST. GEORGE, Utah – Middle Tennessee men's golf padded its lead Saturday in the second round of Southern Utah's Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational. The Blue Raiders took two strokes off their first-round score, carding a 274 (-14) as all seven players finished the round below par at Sunbrook Golf Course.
Owen Stamper was the biggest mover on Saturday, going from a tie for 25th to a tie for eighth with a 66 (-6). The sophomore from Scottsville, Ky., came within one stroke of his career low with the help of four birdies and two eagles.
