MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee capped off another outstanding academic and athletic year with its sixth-best finish all-time in the 2022-23 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup. The Blue Raiders placed 96th out of 363 Division I schools with 180.25 total points, which also led all Conference USA members.
In ten complete years in CUSA, MTSU has finished as the top team four times, which is more than any other program in the league during that span. The 2019-20 season was not scored due to COVID so it works out to four wins in nine scored years.
