SAN ANTONIO, Texas – After splitting yesterday's doubleheader, the Middle Tennessee baseball team dropped the final game of the weekend series at UTSA, 15-1. The Roadrunners (14-12, C-USA 6-5) struck for eight runs on six hits in the bottom of the fifth inning to put the game out of reach from the Blue Raiders (16-14-1, C-USA 5-6-1).
UTSA added a pair of runs in the bottom of the second inning on a home run to left-center field by designated hitter Ian Bailey to jump out to an early 2-0 lead.
Blue Raider freshman cut the Roadrunner lead in half, banging his third double of the weekend off the left field wall scoring from second base.
