COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Soccer overcame a two-goal deficit in the final 20 minutes Sunday night at Tennessee Tech to secure a 2-2 draw in the final minutes.
In the 73', Sadie Sterbenz finished a ball on a corner kick with a goal on a header to get the Blue Raiders on the board. It was the first Blue Raider goal for the freshman from Clarendon Hills, Ill.
Still trailing the Golden Eagles with four minutes to play, Eleanor Gough fired a hard shot past the Tennessee Tech goalkeeper and into the back of the net at the edge of the 18-yard box to seal the result.
