MIAMI, Fla. – The Middle Tennessee Volleyball team (7-20, 2-11) dropped its road contest to FIU (16-11, 8-5) in the Ocean Bank Convocation Center in straight-sets (25-12, 25-18, 25-10) on Thursday evening.
Senior Bailey Mason led the teams offense in the match, inking eight kills. Likewise, fellow senior Regan Coughlin added five kills in the contest while redshirt-senior Vonnie Covington added three.
From her back row position, junior Brienna Tankesley notched 18 digs in the contest, averaging 6.00 digs per set. Similarly, Coughlin (7) and freshman Sarah Sumida (5) added a combined 12 digs in the contest for the Blue Raiders.
