LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis took on the Louisville Cardinal on Sunday, Jan. 28 in Louisville, Ky. MTSU tallied a 4-3 victory and their first win over a Power-5 school since 2016.
The Blue Raiders claimed the doubles point with wins on court No. 3 and No. 2. Lilly-Sophie Schmidt and Alessia Truden took care of business on court No. 3 winning 6-1 over Clement and Snells.
The Cardinals earned two points on court No. 6 and No. 5 to start singles play. Garakani tallied a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 win against Snells on court No.
