DAVIS, Calif. – Middle Tennessee softball (0-2) dropped both games on opening day with a 4-3 loss to UC Davis and an 8-2 loss to Saint Mary's to start the 2024 season.
Game 1 – MTSU 3, UC Davis 4
The Blue Raiders jumped out to an early lead with two third inning runs. Anyce Harvey and both picked up their first RBI of the season. UC Davis evened the score at two a piece in the bottom of the fourth.
Amaya Harris doubled to start the sixth inning, followed by an Ava Brooks single to put the Blue Raiders back on top by a run.
