MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raiders returned home after the bye week and moved up to a 5-0 record at home and a 6-3 record in C-USA play after topping the Owls in a five-set thriller.
After 2,190 days, the Blue Raiders beat Florida Atlantic in sets of 25-18, 22-25, 21-25, 25-16, and 15-13. Middle Tennessee moves up to 8-7 (6-3) on the year and sits in second place behind Western Kentucky.
Defensively, the Blue Raiders looked as good as ever. The block set up well as it ever has this season, allowing to rack up 39 digs on a 7.
