DURHAM, N.C. — Middle Tennessee men's tennis headed to Durham, N.C. to take on California in the first round of the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Saturday, Jan. 27. MTSU tallied a 4-1 win and will move on to the Championship of the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
The Blue Raiders claimed the doubles point winning on court No. 3 and No. 1. Ondrej Horak and Leo Raquin handled business on court No. 3 defeating Kim and Stepanov 6-1. On court No. 1, Javier Cueto Ramos and Jakub Kroslak battled Overbeck and Wright for a 7-6 (5) victory to secure the doubles point for MTSU.
