MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 20 WKU Sunday at Alumni Memorial Gym to wrap up the two-match series (14-25, 17-25, 16-25).
Sophomore and freshman each tallied six kills to co-lead the Blue Raiders offense Sunday. Defensively, libero put up nine digs while added nine digs as well.
A 5-0 WKU run early in the opening stanza quickly put the Blue Raiders at a deficit and prompted a timeout at 9-4 in the first. Later in the set, Middle Tennessee would use back-to-back kills by to cut the deficit to 18-13.
