OXFORD, Miss. - The Middle Tennessee track and field team concluded competition at the Joe Walker Invitational on Saturday. The Blue Raiders collected two podium finishes.
Middle Distance
Brian Rono set a new personal best in the men's 800m, clocking in at 1:48.95 to finish ninth. In the women's 800m, Eusila Chepkemei finished fourth with a time of 2:06.28.
In the women's 1500m, Eusila Chepkemei ran a 4:20.11 to finish 10th. She shaved two seconds off to establish a new personal best.
Long Distance
In the men's 3000m steeplechase, Kigen Chemadi clocked 8:51.
