STATESBORO, Ga.— The Middle Tennessee baseball team started their 2017 with an exciting win in extra innings 6-5 , over Georgia Southern (RV) Friday night in Statesboro.
In his first career start as a Blue Raider, JUCO transfer led off the 10 inning with a single through the left side. After a failed bunt attempt, senior stepped up to the plate. During his at-bat, Kemp stole second base, which proved to be the difference in the game. Pitches later, Jarreau hit the game-winning single to left, scoring Kemp from second to put the Blue Raiders up 6-5.
