CHICAGO – Middle Tennessee women's tennis (9-8, 1-3) falls to UIC (5-3) by score of 5-2 inside the XS Tennis Facility on Friday afternoon.
To begin the dual match, the Flames took two of three doubles courts to claim the doubles point, Senior Zani Barnard and Junior Muskan Gupta picked up their first win of the season as a duo on court No. 2 at 6-2.
In singles, UIC set the tone for singles competition, taking four of six first sets over the Blue Raiders.
Z. Barnard earned today's player of the game honors, winning her singles match 6-4, 6-3 and picking up another win on the doubles front.
