Blue Raiders back in postseason for fourth straight season

STILLWATER, Okla. – For the fourth consecutive postseason and 10th time in the last 13, the Blue Raider Men's Golf team is competing for a spot in the NCAA Championships as one of 13 teams in the NCAA Stillwater Regional at Karsten Creek Golf Club.

NOTES

  • The Blue Raiders made the cut for the postseason for the fourth straight season after winning their third consecutive Conference USA Championship at Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Ark.
  • MT is one of just seven teams in the country from outside the Power 5 conferences to have an active streak of four or more consecutive Regional appearances
  • The Raiders' 10 Regional appearances in the last 13 seasons (excluding 2019-20) are more than any other current Conference USA member
  • Prior to the pandemic-shortened 2019-20 season, Middle Tennessee competed in the 2019 NCAA Myrtle Beach Regional, 2018 Raleigh Regional and 2017 College Grove Regional
  • The Blue Raiders last advanced to the NCAA Championships in 2008 under former head coach Whit Turnbow
  • Head Coach Mark McEntire is employing the same lineup that won the Raiders their third C-USA Championship, which includes two true freshmen (Kevin Jegers and Owen Stamper) and only one Blue Raider who competed in the 2019 NCAA Regional (Tanner Owens)
