BOCA RATON, Fla. – For the third consecutive game this weekend, the Middle Tennessee Baseball took an early lead but were unable to hold onto it, as the Blue Raiders fell 7-5 to the Florida Atlantic Owls on Sunday at FAU Baseball Stadium.
Suffering the sweep against its Conference USA foe, the Blue Raiders drop to 11-12 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
MTSU did not go down quietly Sunday. Trailing 6-4 in the eighth, 3B Gabe Jennings lifted a fly ball to left and scored LF Jackson Galloway on a sacrifice.
