JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Middle Tennessee soccer's match at Jacksonville was determined a no contest due to inclement weather Sunday afternoon.
Stats and results from the game will not count toward overall season numbers.
Both teams came to play from the start as Jacksonville's (0-0-1) goal in the fourth minute put the Blue Raiders (0-1-0) in an early deficit.
Ninety seconds later, MT responded. After Madison Franz's shot bounced off the Jacksonville keeper's hands, Emma Pettersen came through with a second-chance header to even the score at 1-all.
Another Blue Raider freshman came up big when Manon Lebargy converted a free kick in the 15th minute to give MT its first lead of the afternoon at 2-1.
