NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Middle Tennessee men's track & field team is ranked 21st in the 2016 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Associations (USTFCCCA) Outdoor Preseason National Team Computer Rankings as announced today.
The Blue Raiders have four recognized on the list that uses preseason data that compiles the 2016 rankings. Eliud Rutto, Vincent Okot, John Ampomah and Atsu Nyamadi make up the Blue Raiders that are slated to score at the NCAA Championship meet.
Rutto, an 800 meter specialist, did not compete in the 2015 outdoor campaign due to injury, but the junior raced to a career-best 1:45.
