MUFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Mike Slive Foundation is partnering with Conference USA on the Block Cancer initiative throughout the month of February to raise awareness for prostate cancer with each C-USA school choosing one conference game as its Block Cancer event. Middle Tennessee men's basketball has designated its home conference game against Charlotte on Thursday, February 7 at 6:30 p.m. as its Block Cancer event.
"It is a blessing to have college basketball as a platform to show our support in the fight against cancer through the Mike Slive Foundation and the Block Cancer Initiative," Head Men's Basketball Coach Nick McDevitt said.
