MURFREESBORO – Allstate and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) announced today nominees for the 2021 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®, the 30th year of this storied recognition. Blue Raider safety Reed Blankenship was among 109 student-athletes from across all divisions to be nominated.
Blankenship, who earlier this week was placed on the Bednarik Watch List and the C-USA Preseason Watch List, returned from an injury in 2020 and still led the Blue Raiders with 76 tackles. He enters the 2021 season with 309 total stops and is on pace to become the all-time leader.
