Blackman shows even more depth in 35-3 win over Siegel

Playing for a second week without their star running back -- and for the second half without his standout teammate -- Blackman still took down Siegel 35-3 on the road Friday.

The win sets up a battle of undefeated and top 10 state-ranked teams from Murfreesboro next week, as the No. 2 Blaze welcome No. 1 Oakland.

Blackman (5-0) showed even more depth Friday, riding a solid performance from sophomore running back Conner Murphy to put the Stars away.

Last Friday, Ohio State commitment Master Teague left in the first quarter with an ankle injury, but the Blaze rolled to a 42-10 win anyway thanks in large part to running back Cordel Braxton's nearly 160 yards.
